EYSIR - Monthly Log 04

Sorry this devlog is a bit late. The past few weeks have been very busy for me. I'm actually writing this from the hospital right now. Don't worry, it's nothing serious!

Well, one more month come and gone, one step closer to completion! The initial maps for all dungeons are complete! Some changes may be made in the future after playtesting, but generally are staying as is. More towns/cities are also complete. Finishing touches on overworld map are currently being made. Here's a look at it now:

I wanted to do a world map similar in size to Ultima 3's, but with a more realistic (I.E. less obviously square) geographical setup. I somewhat based it off of Japan, made up of several large islands. There's a lot of secret areas and sidequests hidden all around. Definitely more than enough to keep you occupied in between dungeon exploration!

This devlog will be a bit on the short side as well. I don't trust myself to write long posts and keep it interesting while under the influence of pain meds. I'll probably be looking into some form of crowdfunding soon. I'm realizing quickly I can't do everything alone with my health being the way it is. I really wouldn't be able to keep pressing on without all of your support. I've gotten so much positive feedback. It's very motivating! I want to make sure it lives up to expectations.
